Maverick Ranch RV Park (Lajitas Resort & Spa)11:00 AM thru the afternoon: Welcome,
event check-in, refreshments, renew friendships, meet new friends, car detailing, car talk, car rides,
room check-in, lunch and/or
local sight-seeing on your own
Thursday evening dinner features local authentic Texas-style chili and live music on the porch of the
Candelilla Cafe at Lajitas Resort, adjacent to the Thirsty Goat Saloon, followed by
Texas Hold-Em charity poker (buy-in goes to
local charities).
Friday, October 5 - Big Bend Bunny Run
All-day road trip loop "around the Bend" passes through the scenic and historic Big Bend towns of Presidio, Marfa, Alpine, Study Butte, Terlingua, and back to Lajitas. Includes Texas FM 170 along the Rio Grande through Big Bend State Ranch, one of the 10 most scenic and fun driving roads in our great nation!
Midday Shelby Car Show at The Stable, Dave Durant's 10-car Shelby museum in Alpine, Texas
Afternoon speed events on a *closed* section of scenic Texas Highway 118!
Elegant four-course evening meal at the
Ocotillo Restaurant of Lajitas Resort & Spa, which overlooks the Mexican village of Paso Lajitas.
Saturday, October 6 - Lajitas International Airport (Lajitas Resort & Spa)
All-day track events and fun, including 1/4 mile and autocross events on the closed airport runway, plus Terlingua High School
charity car wash (with clean soft water this year!), car rides, with a great deli
lunch

Sunday, October 7 - BBQ at Casa del Corazones (Terlingua Ranch)
All Terlingua 2012 participants are welcome at David and Reine's
Casa del Corazones ("Hearts' Home Over Hearts Draw") for extended good-byes to old and new friends, BBQ lunch, and informal planning for future fun. Casa del Corazones is locally famous for its amazing and unique 120-degree view into and through adjacent Big Bend National Park, including the 5,000-foot sheer ramparts of the Maderas del Carmen Protected Area in Mexico. Casa del Corazones is the crown of Hearts Draw Ranch, a small portion of Terlingua Ranch - the huge spread once co-owned by Carroll Shelby.
