Come Join the Fun and Experience the Big Bend area where Carroll Shelby, Bill Neale & friends partied in the 1960’s!
Wednesday Oct. 14 - (Optional)
- Pre-Event Dinner at Lajitas Golf Resort hotel (hotel room & meals for this night are not included in
the basic event fees)
Thursday Oct. 15 – Event Day #1
- Scenic drive into Big Bend National Park, or enjoy the amenities of the Lajitas Resort on your
own (golf, shooting range, horseback/river/ATV tours, spa, swimming, zipline and more)
- Event Registration at Lajitas Resort Maverick Ranch RV Park
- Lunch provided
- Thursday Night Dinner
- Silent Charity Auction
- Texas Hold’em Poker charity tournament
Friday Oct. 16 - Event Day #2 - The “Spirited Drive”
- Led by TPS board members, travel from Lajitas to Presidio via the world-famous River Road,
then head north to Marfa and east to Alpine, winding up at historic Fort Davis for a catered
lunch. On the way back to Lajitas we will be escorted by local sheriff’s deputies for some
"spirited" driving back to the American Legion post north of Study Butte for some cold
beverages and visiting with the locals. Afterwards we return to Lajitas for rest & relaxation.
- Friday night is the Big Banquet featuring the Live Auction!
Saturday Oct. 17 – Event Day #3 - Track Day
- This is Track Day at the Lajitas International Airport featuring ½ mile runs with some autocross
thrown in for good measure! We’ll have a deli lunch at the airport terminal and the charity car
wash by the students of Terlingua High School.
- That evening we gather again for dinner to close out the event.
Sunday Oct. 18 – Happy Trails to Y’all
- For those who decide to hang around on Sunday, you can head to the historic Terlingua
Ranch for a tour of the TPS Museum, BBQ lunch and extended farewells.
Event cost is $2100 for 2 people or $1800 for one person, which includes one hotel room for Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights; two meals daily (lunch & dinner), event venues, t-shirts, goodie bag, etc.. Contact Sean Cook for questions & registration details (210-885-7326 - sean@terlinguaps.com).
