Tuesday, September 27 - Unofficial pre-event meet up in San Antonio

Wednesday, September 28 - Official pre-event meet up at Lajitas

Optional morning scenic cruise through Big Bend National Park, including lunch at the Chisos Mountains Lodge at 5400' elevation in the Chisos Basin.
Optional activities at Lajitas Resort include golf at Black Jack's Crossing 18-hole Lanny Wadkins-designed course, horseback riding, Agave Spa, and shooting. Half-day and full-day river runs with local outfitters.

Thursday evening buffet dinner features live music by Trevor Hickle on the porch of the Candelilla Cafe at Lajitas Resort, adjacent to the Thirsty Goat Saloon, followed by Texas Hold-Em charity poker (buy-in goes to local charities).
Friday, September 30 - Performance!

All-day performance events and fun includes 1/2 mile-plus speed and autocross slalom events based at Maverick Ranch at Lajitas Golf Resort, plus the Terlingua High School charity car wash. Great buffet deli lunch at Maverick Ranch Pool House.

Prime rib and salmon fillet buffet dinner overlooking the Rio Grande (international border) at the Ocotillo Restaurant, Lajitas Resort & Spa.

ANNUAL TPS CHARITY AUCTION to follow immediately after dinner (proceeds to local charities).

Saturday, October 1 - Carroll Shelby Memorial Cruise and Speed Run

All-day road trip loop "around the Bend" passes through the scenic and historic Big Bend towns of Presidio, Shafter, Marfa, Alpine, Study Butte, Terlingua, and back to Lajitas. Includes Texas FM 170 along the Rio Grande through Big Bend State Ranch, one of the 5 most scenic and fun driving roads in our great nation!

Afternoon speed event on a *closed* section of scenic Texas Highway 118!

Buffet dinner on the lawn near La Cuesta pool, Lajitas Resort & Spa

Sunday, October 2 - Happy Trails 'Till We Meet Again...

BBQ lunch and extended good-byes between old and new friends at David and Reine's Casa del Corazones ("Hearts' Home Over Hearts Draw"), locally famous for its amazing and unique 120-degree view into and through adjacent Big Bend National Park, including the 5,000-foot sheer ramparts of the Maderas del Carmen Protected Area in Mexico. Casa del Corazones is the crown of Hearts Draw Ranch, a small portion of Terlingua Ranch - the huge spread once co-owned by Carroll Shelby and David Witts.

Sunday, October 2 thru ?
Folks who don't have to rush home after the event may want to stay an extra night (or longer!) in the fabulous Big Bend country. Just let David Elkowitz know if you would like to stay longer.
